Donate to the Lightridge Band Program

The Lightridge High School Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the Lightridge High School Band Program. Lightridge High School is located in Aldie, VA, a fast growing suburb in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for musical excellence by developing a community of lifelong learners with a focus on discipline, creativity, and teamwork.

The Lightridge High School Band program has grown tremendously since the opening of the school during the fall of 2020. We currently have 280 students enrolled in the band program and our marching band is one of the largest in the Commonwealth, with over 220 members participating. The band program has been a Virginia Honor Band since the school opened, earning Superior ratings in our marching band and concert band state assessment performances. In order to continue the tremendous work our students and staff have done, we need the support of our community.

  • Winter Color Guard
  • Winter Percussion
  • United Sound

 

Why Donate?

Your donating helps sustain the Lightridge Band program, which is an important part of our students Arts Education. With your support, Lightridge students develop the skills needed to not only become great musicians, but also continue their path of academic achievement and personal growth.

Music and the Arts continues to teach young students about discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. Your donation helps continue to emphasize the importance of these skills to all of our student musicians, skills which they take with them to their future academic and career endeavors.

With your donation to the Lightridge Band, this also allows us to continue supporting our community through performances at various events, parades, and competitions throughout the area. These performances are something that everyone in the community can be proud of and showcases our commitment to bettering the area we live in.

We hope to see you at our Marching Band performances at a home football game, Homecoming Parade, or at competitions; our Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion performances at competitions; and our Concert Band performances all year long!
